Smashed YouTube Downloader — for Windows
=========================================

A small desktop app that downloads one or more videos and packs them into a
zip. It opens in your browser with a clean interface — no terminal needed.

WHAT'S IN THIS FOLDER
---------------------
  SmashedYouTubeDownloader.exe <- the app (double-click to run)
ffmpeg.exe <- bundled, used for the "Compress" option
  README.txt <- this file

Unzip everything to a folder, then double-click SmashedYouTubeDownloader.exe.

HOW TO USE
----------
1. Double-click SmashedYouTubeDownloader.exe.
Your browser opens automatically with the app. (If it doesn't, open the
address shown in the Smashed-URL.txt file next to the exe.)

2. Paste your video links (one per line) in the box.

3. Pick your options:
   - Resolution (720p by default, mp4 by default)
   - Cookies browser (Chrome by default — so YouTube works)
   - Compress (optional, shrinks file size)
   - Output folder and zip name

4. Click Download. Watch the progress, then click "Save ZIP" when done.

NOTES
-----
- Downloads as mp4 at up to 720p by default.
- YouTube cookies are read from your Chrome automatically; switch to
Edge/Firefox/Brave in the dropdown if that's what you use.
- On first run, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — click
More info -> Run anyway. It's just because the exe is unsigned.
- Keep the app open while it's working; close the browser tab when done.
- For personal use only. Respect creators and platform terms.
